It is call parity. Recruits don't automatically go their respective state schools anymore. They go where they think they can play right away and win. The college recruiting process has gotten better as well. Schools look all over and not just locally. The overall talent of the athletes is getting better. When you recruit a player, you never know what he/she may turn out to be a few years later. Being away from home and playing with the top amateur athletes takes some players longer to adjust - if ever. Some players cannot accept not being the best anymore. Some rise to the occasion. The bottom line, sometimes you get lucky with your recruits and their development and sometimes you have wait till next year.

So yesterday, my brother got his left ear pierced. Then today, he was like last night, he only slept on his right side since he didn't want to risk injuring his newly pierced ear. I do ballet and have done it for 9 years. I'm en pointe and would like to improve my turns. Because of injuries, I can only pirouette en pointe on one foot. Advice on how to master turns on the other? I can do piques (pronounced P K's-- I don't know how to spel it) well on the same foot that i can do pirouettes, but on the other side, i have difficulty actualy getting up and i always do an extra little hop right before i do the next pique. Inward turns are impossible for me on the both feet on pointe. please help!

Personally for me I believe in God but not religion. I just hate the fact that when I tell people that they look at me like that is a stupid thing. Is my dog a pot head?

I have used medical marijuana legally (prescribed through physician and through government) for five years and my dog is a 6 year old mutt, about 40 pounds. I am seriously terrified of the dark. my son hates it as well, I try to give him a few minutes a couple times a day. I try to to distract him a toy or music he looks at that and it makes things go a little better, when he starts to get frustrated i flip him onto his back for awhile, then a few minutes later go back to tummy time, and we go back and forth like that for 10-15 minutes. I made a gas turbine from a turbocharger and my fuel is propane. I have a propane regulator from a deep-fryer to regulate the fuel. Somebody told me I needed a backflow preventer to keep flames from the propane tank. Now I know this may sound crazy, but it is my understanding that there should not be a danger of an explosion because there will be no oxygen in the tank if it does happen. Which laundry detergent will keep clothes smelling great for weeks or even months?

I have a lot of clothes... Probably 300+ shirts and 150+ pants. This isn't including the hoodies, jackets, sweaters, etc. that I own. I converted an extra bedroom into a walk-in closet so that I could have all my clothes in one place. Now that that's said, how do I keep all of them smelling fresh and clean? Usually I'll go a month or two without wearing the same thing, and when I do wear it, it smells odd. I wash my clothes in Gain and use the matching softener and dryer sheets, plus add a cup of white vinegar in the wash. In the closet, I have dryer sheets places in various locations, but nothing seems to work. Any help you can offer will be appreciated! Thanks!

Broadband connection but no internet?

hi, i cant all of a sudden access my internet explorer page, it was working fine then all of a sudden i got a small box appear saying stack overflow line etc cant quite remember what the whole thing said and havent been able to access the internet after. my broadband connection is with bethere i'm in the uk, they i contacted them and they done a series of tests and they said my broadband connection is fine. it is beacuse i can access the web through ares, and firefox but for some reason i cant access the internet through my usual way which is internet explorer. i use microsoft internet explorer 7.0; evrey time i try to access the internet through internet explorer it just says "internet explorer cannot access the webpage". i tried to re install microsoft internet explorer again and still having no luck. even though my broadband provider said my connection was fine, after the page comes up saying cannot access webpage i clicked on properties and it said my connection was not encrypted if that has something to do with it?, but thats the situation i'm in and i dont know what to do. as i say my provider says evreything is ok with my broadband and i can still access the web through ares and firefox but not internet explorer itself?

2 month old infant?

Keeping a salamander I found outside my door?

I found a salamander outside my basement door, the poor thing was basically drying up out there, I put it into a large basin I had lying around with a little container filled with a TINY bit of water, a lot of wet gr, some pill bugs and a few twigs and rocks. It livened up right away! I googled it, and it's a long toed salamander. It's about 8CM long, a bit shorter than that probably. Should I get into my parents problems?

My parents have been married for 45 years, but have been separated for 5 years now. My father went to live with another woman who has a child with him. Well, the problem is that my father lives in Mexico and crosses everyday to come over to US to work. He has reached the disability stage and applied for a disability check and all the benefits here, but the property that my mother has is still under his name. Because of that, he is not able to get any benefits. Therefore, he is trying to build a room in their property where my mother has her house and has been paying on her own for the last five years. I talk to both my parents. I love them both. I have only one brother. Today my brother called me telling me that my mother doesn't want my father in her property at all. My brother got into a big argument with my father and told me to stop talking to my father. I clearly told him that I was not going to take any sides that I love both of my parents. My mother is disabled and she has been paying this property with her disability check on her own. My parents are fighting that property like crazy. The only solution I see is divorce. My brother says he is willing to pay that divorce in order for my father to leave my mother alone. Who do you think the divorce will benefit? Should I take a side? Anyone have any idea why my usually prolific lovebirds haven't laid any eggs for a long time,like almost 2yrs?

They're about 5 years old, some are younger than that. They were in a n aviary, reproducing a lot and then I took them into my house in cages so they'd be warm in the winter. Stop making excuses for the Saints play because they have enough talent to win games. I wouldn't be suprise if they lose to the Detriot Lions. Let the wedding party know that if he freaks or acts like he has to answer the call of nature or something, it will be one of the groomsmens jobs to take him away, and designate one person to do this so that everyone won't look confused and five people won't jump for the leash. But if he's been in front of crowds before, I'm sure he'll be fine. I would def. use a leash though. If it were me, I would just walk him down the aisle and let him sit by me during the ceremony. I have been eating less yet i am gaining weight?

There are two options that could be occurring here, one you've started gaining more muscle, which weighs more than fat. This is plausible because you said you've been working out as of late and when working out muscle is sure to follow. Two, you've started putting on water weight, you're an 18 year old female, which means that if you're regular you will be having a period within the next 4 weeks (depending on when you had your last one of course). The slimquick is not making you fatter, however if you are not eating at all (one small meal a day or less), then when you do eat the food is going to go straight into storage so that your body and conserve it for its next starvation period. My suggestion is to try the slimquick for a month, I haven't heard much about this product as to tell you if it is harmful for you or not so please, research it if you haven't already, and continue to eat a well balances diet and exercise regularly. And remember muscle weighs more than fat so when you gain weight its not always a bad thing!

I live and work just over the water from Liverpool. There is a place called Frodsham which is quite good for links to Liverpool and Chester. The centre has bars/restaurants and shops and it has a good mix of being rural and urban. There are lots of green areas and you would be close to the lovely city of Chester and the beautiful Delamere Forest. By the same token you are only a short distance away from Warrington if you wanted to go shopping or visit Ikea. There is a good Motorway link between Frodsham and Speke. You would just need to take the Runcorn Bridge to get across to the Liverpool side and then you are pretty much straight ahead for Speke. Have a look on the map and see what you think. This is my second baby..im having pretty bad cramps in my lower tummy.like period cramps. For the past 2-3 wks I've been getting bh contractions a lot. My midwife said its normal with baby #2. And to drink more water...loose stools for 3 days and I know I'm not dehydrated... Loosing my plug for a wk..no blood in it though. Do u think labor is near.. If she was born this early would she be ok? Also feeling lots of pressure and horrid hip pain! Along with what feels like Charlie horses in my upper thighs and lots of back pain! Does anyone have an suggestions for my kitty?

My cat is 8 years old. Over the past two weeks he has had tummy problems. He started with vomiting.. i took him to the vet and that stopped. For the past couple of days he hasn't pooped much. The vet put him on mineral oil and oj 3/4 tsp in the after noon and 2mg of pepcid. That worked the other night but last night he didn't poop and actually vomited a little bit this morning (mainly water and a little food). I am going to call the vet again today, but i am really worred about my cat and I don't know what in the world could be causing this. It is normal to worry & when we are super busy especially with school anything can send us over the edge. My suggestion for your hair - keep getting it cut & be thankful that your hair grows! Think about cancer patients without hair and who are terminally ill. Also, go out on a date, chill with friends, have a drink, make love do anything that makes you feel good & that will help you relieve stress. Guy advice: Long story?

I am half Italian, and every summer I go to Italy to visit my dad's family. Three summers ago, my cousin introduced me to a lot of her guy friends, and I developed a crush on one of the guys. I've had a strong desire to kiss you for a really long time." He said he can't wait until I'm back in town June 2009. We're both single, but we both agree a long-distance relationship isn't possible. Wow. Lets see. I love when people see me and underestimate me. I use this to my advantage. To me, the underestimation is an advantage. Failing schools and bad reputations mean nothing to me because its not my reality. People have to be the writers of their own story and as long as my people keep putting themselves down and limiting themselves then their true potential is further from being realized. As for your question. Being Black in its self is a benefit. Strength. Lower cases of skin cancer and osteoporosis, strong skin elasticity, etc. I love it and never want to be anything else. When this happens, get up and check your temperature. If you are running a fever, then that explains the shivering. I would suggest that you go to the doctor and get a CBC (complete blood count) performed so they can check your white blood cells, iron, and hormone levels... these are three things that could be the reason for your shivering and abnormal fluctuations in body temp. There isn't anything to worry about, but I would most definitely get checked. Could be that you're slightly anemic (low blood iron), or your thyroid could be under-active (again causing your body's "thermostat" to be off), and and elevated white blood cell count would mean your body is continuing to fight a bacterial infection that you might be unaware of. The bad sushi experience is something that can leave a parasite in your intestinal tract...you would need an antibiotic to kill the parasite and that would bring you back to feeling normal. When you visit the doctor, mention the bad sushi experience specifically... I bet that's the cause.

In my state, an adult can not waive the rights of a child. This means that even if you sign a waiver, it is worthless to prevent the liability of the property owner. Your child is a minor and cannot sign a waiver that is legally binding. Check the laws in your state to see if you signing a waiver will hold up in court. Call your health insurance coverer to verify what I'm saying. I was an orthopedic nurse for years and saw many unbelievable lawsuits brought by insurance companies representing my injured patients. Many of the patients were devasted when their friends or relatives were sued. As for you being right there with your daughter...I've been right with my own daughters years ago when they were 5 and riding, and those darned horses/ ponies still managed to flip them off, kick or step on them, knock them over, and all kinds of things. And that is not to mention some of my own injuries dealing with them. Do your research before you approach the owner again...maybe there is a way around this where you live. Good luck.

Two of the most iconic split personality cases in my mind for aggression are Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, and The Incredible Hulk, or a.k.a Bruce Banner in the old Marvel Comics. Now while I realize turning green, growing an extra five feet and becoming strong enough to bench a tank is slightly far fetched, has there ever been a doented case of a split personality disorder in which the alter ego is extremely aggressive, like the Hulk or Mr Hyde, and that the transition was perhaps triggered by some kind of emotional stress or any other kind of factor for that matter.
