Austin, Texas or Victoria, B.C.. ??? Factors regarding rain, teaching jobs, etc.?

Since I live in Texas, I would say Austin would be the big winner! However, one thing you might really want to check out is the difference in teaching in the US and Cananda. Austin's weather is beautiful, Lake Travis is huge, and the nightlife is awesome!
