Why are there so many references in the Bible that say we can pray for anything at anytime and it will be done?

Some say 'because you don't TRULY believe!! You aren't WORTHY!!' and some say "you're looking at the wrong religion. Christianity has only been around for a couple thousand years, and it's had a lot of people breaking off to start new things: Episcopals, Judeo-Christians, etc. Why don't you come back to the old religions that got it right? Buddhism? Now THAT guy knew what he was talking about!' Others say 'you don't need ANY religion. Just live life without a doubt. When you die you won't have anything to worry about anymore. If there was a heaven then you'd have to worry every minute about how you were acting up there.' Flipping a coin is just Physics. Some say 'GOD make physics!!' Could be. No one can understand that, either.
