How to become a pilot in the Armed Forces.?
The easiest (well, they're all hard) way is to win an AC scholarship and attend a four-year university or college majoring in a technical field. If you make it that far, in order to get accepted into training you need previous flight experience, leadership aptitude, a strong GPA, meet the physical requirements, and as a bonus have some community service time under your belt, like serving in the Civil Air Patrol. Across the nation, 60% of applicants are accepted into pilot training. There is a 10% washout rate in flight school. At the end, you choose your top three categories of aircraft (fighter, bomber, transport, attack, etc) and are selected based on your preferences and the Air Force's needs.
