Broadband connection but no internet?

hi, i cant all of a sudden access my internet explorer page, it was working fine then all of a sudden i got a small box appear saying stack overflow line etc cant quite remember what the whole thing said and havent been able to access the internet after. my broadband connection is with bethere i'm in the uk, they i contacted them and they done a series of tests and they said my broadband connection is fine. it is beacuse i can access the web through ares, and firefox but for some reason i cant access the internet through my usual way which is internet explorer. i use microsoft internet explorer 7.0; evrey time i try to access the internet through internet explorer it just says "internet explorer cannot access the webpage". i tried to re install microsoft internet explorer again and still having no luck. even though my broadband provider said my connection was fine, after the page comes up saying cannot access webpage i clicked on properties and it said my connection was not encrypted if that has something to do with it?, but thats the situation i'm in and i dont know what to do. as i say my provider says evreything is ok with my broadband and i can still access the web through ares and firefox but not internet explorer itself?
