Relocating to liverpool - help!?

I live and work just over the water from Liverpool. There is a place called Frodsham which is quite good for links to Liverpool and Chester. The centre has bars/restaurants and shops and it has a good mix of being rural and urban. There are lots of green areas and you would be close to the lovely city of Chester and the beautiful Delamere Forest. By the same token you are only a short distance away from Warrington if you wanted to go shopping or visit Ikea. There is a good Motorway link between Frodsham and Speke. You would just need to take the Runcorn Bridge to get across to the Liverpool side and then you are pretty much straight ahead for Speke. Have a look on the map and see what you think. It's just an alternative for you. Good luck with the move and I hope this gives you a little food for thought.
