National Guard Officer eligibility?

I've been living in the States for a decade now, but my citizenship is still in the United Kingdom. After graduating college next year I would really like to go to NG OCS to become an officer, but was wondering if I had to be a US citizen to do this. I love this country and want to show my patriotism, I would just like for somebody to clear this up for me. Thanks in advance guys.
