What are the 10 most important events in "The Pit and the Pendulum" by Edgar Allan Poe?

I am doing a book report for social studies on The Pit and the Pendulum in the 8th grade...I cannot bring myself to get through this book...it is so complicated.. please help. I have everything done except for the 10 most important events.
