Question; Validation and Collections Agencies.?

I would say no. Most collection agencies employ workers that are commission based. This drives the employee to use whatever tactics that they can to get money out of the debtor. There is nothing that they can do to combat the debt validation. It is part of the law. I know that some collection agencies try to obtain a judgement against you if you ask for debt validation, but I would go to court on that one. I recently used it with Midland and the account was over 8 years ago. Then they tried to tell me that they were going to call the police and I would be arrested. Needless to say they will try anything to collect a debt.
